Hearing, Seeing, and Speaking... Success The Simulated Patient & Family Experience
How do patients and families really see your hospital? You may be surprised to know that the "horizontal" view from the patient's eyes is quite different from the vertical view.
Our experienced trainers will help you to understand each phase of the patient’s trip, then walk you through an analysis of those experiences - from the patient and his/her family’s point of view. We’ll lead you to new insights into ways to position your hospital as the hospital of choice.
You'll see how most patients assume that their physician works for your hospital. The patient’s experience is continual trip through your facility
The Simulated Patient and Family Experience is a highly interactive engagement involving department manager group-think exercises, identifying priorities, in-the-hospital research teams conducting actual patient and family experiences, story-telling and brainstorming about ways to address what the experiences reveal.
Research techniques include observing, journaling, interviewing, photographing and documenting experiences from the patient and his/her family’s perspective.
